Description:
So much to discover. you started on my left side- I felt you on my right first and I thought 'if I were in your space you would be on my right, but if you were in my space and you were positioning yourself in the context of the space and where I had positioned myself in relationship to that space then you would be on my left.' so I reached for your hand and we glided across each others' arms and we immediately both went to explore in the strawberry foliage up close, inside the leaves, behind the leaves, under the leaves, and I found frost, and we sank in and smelt them and the ice on the grass that I slid my fingers down until it became a pile and I tasted it cold on the tip of my tongue. The ice on the brocolli was such a treat and I wanted to tear it all up into little pieces and turn it all upside down and stick my fingers right through the centre of the earth to come up and tickle your feet and I felt you laughing and pushing your head out from hiding behind things and peeking out and are you wearing a skirt? an a-line gypsy type? a blue one? I see you wearing blue, perhaps a headscarf? maybe, or red. Then the structure was fun and then I saw you further and further away again in your own garden and I saw tools and pots, and a potting shed, and I found the hole in the twigs so I blew down it and made it whistle and you crouched down next to me, laughing, crouched in an achilles stretch, looking quite delighted and you were moving much faster than I and so I came writhing through the branches and the twigs and kept that movement going even in the empty space until we played peekaboo behind the compost and I went and stood on top and watched you running and leaping over the empty garden beds, and it looked so much fun, I couldn't resist so I joined you, then the time was up and I felt happy. about three minutes into the writing you came up and hugged me, as I am doing to you now.... at ten after nine am. so then I stood up and gave you a ravers hug'

Then you are sitting on the chair, witnessing

The earth is in clods
the willow bends (relief)
a cluster of rotting grapes

Hands, feet and face are touching and sensing
The polytunnel is less cold, my back nestles into the earth, you haven’t come in here.

Any other comments:

Two months later, on 18 January, Sheffield witnessed powerful storms with gusty winds which shook the foundation of the greenhouse in one of the pictures and brought it to the ground. Gusts of up to 99mph were recorded.
