Location: Copperas House, Ringinglow, Sheffield
OS Reference: SK 293 834 GB Grid
Date: 12 October 2006

Time: 17.10pm
Site:A derelict stone house that use to be a chemical works. Water permeates everywhere, seems like the top layer of soil and grass is a floating carpet on a running sheet of water that will any minute carry us away.

Description:
CUrled next to a stone wall, green apples rotting into the ground. I let a worm arch across and over my hand. I can feel you faintly, hold your hand and stand for a while watching the path of a bird then an insect wing across this grey sky. Move again, set free, twitching and jolting, arythmic, releasing from my belly and with my breath, on and on. Time’s up but I need more time, to wind myself down, I was going somewhere, but I stopped.

Present:
Jo, the worm

Any other comments:
Jo swore the whole way through, his tripod kept sinking into the ground it was so soggy. Interesting explosion of energy at the end kept going and going

Description:
In the fire circle
I am showing off my space to her
Lots of circles
Tree sculpture
How do the woods affect my movement?
How does my movement affect the woods? Snap, crack, split, drop.
She comes to me, down and up, and playfully I run round and round and round. An offer of contact, I nearly fell back into her arms, but no, I run.
At the end I am proud of my space and I say to her 'check my space out. Yours is cool, you're in the next field.'
I feel so close and so separate, happily together and happily independent.
